Actor John Dumelo has offered a sincere apology to Godfred Obeng Boateng aka VITO, the “bread seller” for misdeeming him.

In his apology, he noted that he was wrong to misjudge the inspiring actions taken by Vito to sell on the street with his employees.

Adding that, he should not have been the one to do that since he had promoted startups; “I must say however that, this is not at all like me especially as I have been promoting start ups and entrepreneurs,” he stated.

He noted that, since January, this year, he had taken 10 school graduates to undergo startup programmes under his foundation (John Dumelo Foundation).

He also extended his apologies to the public through his Instagram post on Monday, “I sincerely apologize to everyone especially the hard working hawkers, who endure the sun just to make ends meet. I will soon join him on the streets to experience this selfless act for myself, very inspiring,” he added.

Meanwhile, the said “bread seller” (Godfred O. Boateng) is an entrepreneur who owns a bread factory in Kumasi which employs over 200 people.
