Deloris Frimpong Manso’s Cocoa Brown television series has come under heavy criticism on AM Pluzz, a show hosted by Sammyflex on Pluzz 89.9 FM. The series which is based on the true life story of television and radio presenter, Delay, was described as one of the WAK TV series currently on TV.

Today’s show which sought to address how important television series has become over movies and its recent patronage, had Kweku Asiedu who was a guest panel on the show say the Cocoa Brown series is rich in production but don’t carry any message and for that matter lacks content. In his opinion there are a lot of such series on air currently and the Cocoa Brown series is a typical example.

“Cocoa brown is wack, it is rich in production, with many celebrities, but it does not carry any message. It lacks contents” he said on the show.

Cocoa Brown is a television series showing on Viasat 1. Some of the popular faces featured in the series directed by Kofi Asamoah are Eunice Banini, Akorfa Edjeani, Caroline Sampson, Black Boy, Root Eye and Ahuofe Patricia. The others are Shatta Michy, Moesha Boudong, Kwaku Elliot, D Cryme, Nana Boroo and Evelyn Addo popularly known as Nina.The series is produced by Radio and television host Deloris Frimpong manso.
