Harry Kane wins golden boot

Tottenham’s prolific striker, Harry Kane wins the Premier League’s Golden Boot for the second season in a row.

His hat-trick against Hull City (assisted by Erikson, Trippier and Alli) means he finishes the season with 29 goals. becoming the first player to win the prize in successive seasons since Robin van Persie in 2013.

Elsewhere, Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum, Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana scored the goals for Jürgen Klopp’s side. A 73.7% possession of Klopp’s men made sure Sunday’s afternoon was successful hold off the challenge of Arsenal, who won 3-1 against Everton.

Georginio’s connection with a pass inside the box and slamming into the top right corner took the lead. The qualifiers will commence Monday August 14.

This is the first time that the Gunners have missed out on the top four since the 1995-96 season, when Bruce Rioch was in charge at Highbury.
